Blueberry Hummus…now who is ready for a food adventure today!?

Blueberry hummus is such a fun departure from the traditional recipe! Hummus is one of those foods that can easily adapt, taking on a multitude of flavor profiles depending on what mood you’re in. For spring, I wanted a hummus that was unique, fresh and veered a little on the sweet side. Enter ‘Blueberry Hummus’.

It couldn’t be more simple to make as we’re taking the base of a hummus recipe and adding in a cup of California Giant blueberries for that pop of freshness and a touch of sweet. As the blueberries mix with the chickpeas and lemon juice, the sweetness mellows and creates a subtle aroma that is very inviting, making you go in for scoop after scoop.

And I am thrilled to be partnering with California Giant Berries on this recipe, expanding upon an already delicious food, with the addition of fresh spring time berries. It truly is a unique recipe that pairs so beautifully with the dried fig crackers, grapes and any cheese you’d like! Enjoy you guys and have fun! Food is meant to be exploratory, as an adventure!
