Protein Packed Yogurt Bowl with Homemade Raspberry Caramel Sauce!

This Protein Packed Yogurt Bowl with Homemade Raspberry Caramel Sauce is an indulgent, yet healthy dessert that can also double as breakfast.

Protein Packed Dessert Bowl with Raspberry Caramel Sauce!

For all you girlies who are on the protein train (me included ), this one’s for us!

I got us covered with this dessert yogurt bowl that LITERALLY tastes like raspberry cheesecake!!!

I have been devouring this dessert nonstop for the last few months and let me tell ya, it’s wildly delicious, WHILE also being wildly nutritious.

The key to striking this balance is all in the added protein - Greek yogurt, which is already high in protein, plus a scoop of vanilla powder - turning this yogurt bowl into something I’m sure Arnold Schwarzenegger would approve of ;)

And every cheesecake needs a good sauce…

Enter: our homemade raspberry caramel sauce

It’s decadent, it’s classic, and we’re taking the most delicious california Giant raspberries, melting them down into a robust fruity sauce that folds seamlessly into the caramel aroma.

It’s this fruity raspberry caramel that takes this yogurt bowl from daytime to nighttime.

Pour it all over the top of your dessert bowl and get ready to bliss out over the healthiest ‘cheesecake’ you’ll ever have ;)

Enjoy your sneakily healthy dessert - you know I will.

xx Marie

Protein Packed Dessert Bowl - yogurt chia pudding mixed with vanilla protein powder, and raspberry-tahini-caramel sauce

Serves 1

For the Protein Yogurt:

1 cup greek yogurt

2 tsp chia seeds

1/2 scoop of any vanilla protein powder, I enjoy a plant based powder

For the Caramel Sauce:

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup of California Giant Berries Raspberries

3 tbsp butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

Boil the sugar and raspberries together on medium heat, adding a splash of water. Boil until the sugar dissolves, the fruit breaks down and the mixture starts to bubble - about 3 minutes.

Swirl the mixture in the pot for another 10 minutes by moving the pot around in slow circles.

Then stir in the butter and allow it to melt.

Remove from the heat and slowly whisk in the heavy cream until it's all incorporated. Set aside to cool for a few minutes.

To assemble - add the yogurt into a bowl, top with the fresh berries, mint, edible flowers, chocolate chips and drizzle with the raspberry caramel sauce. Enjoy!
