Nutella and Berry Pastry Wreath
1 puff pastry sheet, thawed out if frozen
1/4 cup California Giant Blackberries, cut in half
1/4 cup California Giant Blueberries
1/4 cup California Giant Raspberries, cut in half
1 - 1 & 1/4 cups of Nutella or any chocolate spread or nut butter spread
1 egg, cracked and whisked for the egg wash
Top with powdered sugar
Slightly roll out your puff pastry wreath. Add the nutella to the center of the puff pastry and spread across the surface of the sheet, while leaving 1/2 inch around the sides. Sprinkle the berries on top of the Nutella.
Gently roll the puff pastry starting from the longer end and roll until you’ve reached the other side.
Slice the pastry tube down the center in half lengthwise.
Gently braid the two pastry sections together into a wreath. Then curve them together creating a circle shape. Pinch the two ends together to close the circle shape.
Brush the pastry edges with the egg wash.
Pop your wreath into the oven to bake at 375F for 20 minutes. Then remove from the oven, add foil on top to cover the wreath, and bake for another 35-40 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown.
Let cool for about 15 minutes, add the powdered sugar on top, slice and enjoy!
